My work is a product of my history and my personality. I believe in storytelling as a truthtelling tool, as well as a way to provide value and catharsis. I love working with people who feel the same way.

My Background

My childhood was spent in the United States, Europe, and South America. I was passionate about travelling, writing, and performing from a young age. As I grew, my passions matured into skills.

I have a M.A. and B.A. in International Affairs. My concentrations were in security studies and religion, respectively. My undergraduate research project was on film, civic action, and media in India. My graduate group capstone focused on how new media might be used to combat youth unemployment in South Africa. I am interested in media analysis, strategic communications, and multidisciplinary writing.

I am entrusted with crucial client projects, provide leadership with limited resources, and have had the opportunity to work in a wide range of industries. I adapt well in the modern, tumultuous, global workplace.

Meaningless data abound. My job is to dig deep into information and pull forward the most important driving factors. I know it takes time and research to find the needle in the haystack.


Once I understand the most important aspects of a project, I pull forward related next steps that are directly linked to the goals and objectives. I use data-driven solutions that are tailored to the needs of the project.


Someone once told me that the job of a good hook is to make the audience believe the story is not about them. I constantly craft my stories–both professionally and creatively–to achieve catharsis.

But thousands and thousands of people, all people, have the same light in them, have their own creative power in them, if they would only come to see it, respect it, and let it out.

When I approach art–any art–I approach it with the awe of creative power. As a military brat and the child of a Cuban-American and a Canadian, I am lucky to have had the opportunity to spend most of my life moving between cultures. As an adult, I have continued to experience diverse stories; both real and fictional.

I believe in working with people whose voices have been marginalized. My goal is to create a career around partnerships that connect across gender, race, nationality, class, and other lived experiences.
